Making a choice about an email marketing platform is a significant one that deserves consideration.
I’m going to analyze two higher quality email marketing service providers – Aweber vs. Constant Contact – to see if one is actually better than the other, or if they are the same, which one is more appropriate for certain needs.
The first item to consider is “email deliverability”. Smaller businesses can struggle to get high deliveralibility as they don’t have the resources to negotiate with the email service providers who handle the forwarding and receiving of emails. Nonetheless, if you send your emails through either Constant Contact or Aweber, you will get awesome deliverability rates. Some say Aweber is slightly better but it’s unverifiable.
Next up, nearly as significant, is statistical analysis of who opens the emails and what links they click. This can genuinely make your money back and a lot more if you know what you’re performing. With this information you can analyze which campaigns are prosperous and which are failing and allocate resources accordingly. Both Constant Contact and Aweber provide tracking facilities. These permit that you check hotspots in your sales copy amongst other things.
Aweber supports basic split testing. Split testing permits you to send diverse emails inside the same campaign to choose which a single is most efficient.
All businesses need to have simple to use forms they can integrate in their site pages. There may come a time when you are required to edit the HTML on your web page yourself, and if so, Aweber has awesome tutorials to walk you through that process. Aweber also provides specific help for those of you who have Paypal shops.
Aweber also offers autoresponder assistance. An autoresponder allows you to send out emails without you having to do anything other than set it up the first time. Once you’ve set up the autoresponse campaign new prospects will automatically be taken through your selection of initial emails from the autoresponder. This can gain trust with your prospect and slowly get them acquainted to your company without having overloading them with data they can’t read in one setting.
Finally, pricing. Constant contact is cheaper if you have a listing smaller than 500 members. Above 500 members then Aweber is cheaper by $72 more than the course of a year on the worst. Aweber do have a sign in bold stating “If you aren’t satisfied with the results you see, get in touch with us for a full, hassle-free refund.”
Obviously they couldn’t afford to display that if users weren’t satisfied with their service.
In short, Aweber wins as the most multi-featured, well-established email autoresponder service provider.
